What is MOOC?
This is a massive open online course, one of the most popular and promising trends in world education. It is provides an opportunity to completely free of charge to study any subject or discipline at a time convenient for you and at a comfortable pace for you.
Here i describe three the most popular MOOC'S:

1)edX - is suitable for organizations that want a modern, flexible, robust course-management platform. Although it is open source, investment will need to be made in both installation and some maintenance. But the return will be a platform that can provide best-in-class content to thousands of students.
2) Coursera - This is the site where the best courses of many universities of the world are collected. To view all schools, just go to the appropriate tab. Registration is very simple. You can enter through Facebook or register by e-mail.Every course on Coursera is taught by top instructors from the world’s best universities and educational institutions. Courses include recorded video lectures, auto-graded and peer-reviewed assignments, and community discussion forums. When you complete a course, you’ll receive a sharable electronic Course Certificate.

3) Moodle
The platform offers more than edX in terms of educational tools, analytics and SCORM compliance. The trade-off is that the platform is over 10 years old. The number of configuration options can be daunting, and system performance suffers with larger numbers of students.

WHAT IS WIKI?
Wiki is a web technology used for collaborative publishing on the web. Wiki is a type of server software that allows you to work with data on a remote server on the Web. Users interact with the software through a web interface that lets them read, edit and publish content.

In a wiki site, students are free to create pages about themselves. A teacher can ask students to create such pages as an entry-level task to get them familiar with wiki and its tools. A student's page can contain a photo, bio information, hobbies, a list of interests, links to favorite websites. A task to create such a page gives the student an incentive how to use formatting, publishing and multimedia capabilities of a wiki platform, thereby preparing the student for more complex tasks.

Also wikis are actively used in education and there are a significant number of such resources.

I will discribe two of them:

First its a WIKISPACES
It not only offers a wide range of opportunities for teamwork, but it is also very simple to use. Wikispaces Classroom gives us the features we need to get our classroom organized. I believe that this service is very convenient for the organization of work outside the traditional classroom. Many other useful functions are also proposed in the training, such as project-based learning.

Second its a TEFLPEDIA
Teflpedia is a wiki dedicated to everything associated with teaching English as a foreign language  or second language. Our objective is to become a major user-generated resource for English teachers from all over the world. I consider it very useful service, which could contain all the material necessary for teachers of the English language. Incredibly successful choice for such a wiki platform service. Any teacher can share his resources with others.
